Your organization
Members and invitations
Who works in the workspace, with which role, since when — and how to remove an access without erasing the history.

Inviting someone
Three steps from the Members tab in settings.
- 1
Enter their email address
The invitation is named: it applies to that address and to this organization.
- 2
Pick their role
Member for day-to-day work, administrator for those who also have to run the organization.
- 3
Send it
They receive an email with a link that adds them to the organization, creating their account along the way if they do not have one.
Note
Pending invitations
Until an invitation is accepted it stays visible, with its send date and its expiry date. You can revoke it at any time: the link stops working immediately, even if it has already been forwarded. Revoking then re-inviting is the right move when an address was mistyped.
Tip
Member or administrator
Two roles are enough for most organizations.
- Member — works day to day within the permissions attached to their role: documents, conversations, invoices, third parties.
- Administrator — everything a member does, plus running the organization: members, roles, subscription, firm connection, settings.
- Custom roles — to go beyond those two levels, create your own roles and tick exactly the permissions granted.
Deactivate rather than delete
When someone leaves the company, deactivate their access: they can no longer sign in to the organization, but everything they did stays attributed to them. The documents they uploaded, the messages they wrote, the invoices they issued keep their author — that is what makes an audit trail usable years later.
