Atlas, the AI that scans and reads your accounting documents

Atlas is the AI assistant built into React Box, available on both web and mobile. Atlas reads your accounting records — purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, bank statements — and automatically extracts the key data: amount, date, currency, third party and VAT. Concretely, when you photograph an invoice from the mobile app, Atlas triggers the recognition, shows progress in real time, and hands you a pre-filled form that you only need to review. Atlas is conversational too: ask it about your invoices, third parties or treasury and it reads your real data to answer, citing its sources, and it can prepare drafts — invoice, credit note, purchase invoice — that you review before issuing. Nothing is saved or issued without your confirmation.

You can scan your purchase invoices, cash receipts and bank statements, as a photo, image or PDF, from both the mobile app and the web. Concretely, snap a supplier invoice or import its PDF: React Box launches optical recognition, powered by the Mistral OCR engine, and detects the amount, date, currency, third party and VAT. For a bank statement, it is the transaction lines, the period and the balances that are picked up, then the account is identified from its IBAN. Every file passes a size check to keep processing reliable. The result is always presented as a pre-filled draft that you confirm before it is saved: the document then joins your vault and, for a purchase invoice, it is ready to be matched to a payment. Nothing is committed to your books until you have reviewed it.

Extraction relies on the Mistral OCR engine, which recognises the key fields of an accounting document — amount, date, currency, third party and VAT — with solid accuracy on everyday documents. But React Box never replaces your judgement: nothing is saved without your review. Concretely, after the scan you get a pre-filled form where every recognised value can be corrected in one tap before you confirm — a misread amount on a creased invoice, an ambiguous date or an unknown third party are all fixed in a single touch. This human-in-the-loop step keeps your books accurate while sparing you almost all of the manual entry. You save hours of re-keying and cut copy errors, without ever handing the final word to the machine: you are the one who confirms, every time.

Your documents are secure, and they are never used to train the AI. Your scanned records are AES-256 encrypted at rest, protected by strict access control and a timestamped audit trail that records every view. Concretely, an invoice you scan stays in your React Box vault, reachable only by your business and, where applicable, the accounting firm you have explicitly linked to your organisation. Your records are kept for ten years, in line with the Moroccan DGI's retention requirements, with the legal weight of the digital document. Above all, your files join no training set, neither at React Box nor at its technical providers: Atlas reads them only to extract their data, then they are simply archived securely, under your sole control. React Box is published by React Consulting SARL AU, a company based in Marrakech, and complies with the GDPR as well as law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.

Atlas is included in the subscription, with no extra module to buy. Every task — reading an invoice, extracting a statement, an answer from the assistant — is metered and drawn from a prepaid AI credit, granted every month and rolled over month to month when it goes unused. A dedicated tab breaks down the current cycle task by task, and you are warned before it runs out: the rule is that React Box will never bill you for artificial intelligence behind your back. Once the credit is exhausted, automatic processing pauses and manual entry of invoices and statements keeps working normally. Atlas is reserved for business organisations: an accounting firm has no Atlas for its own structure, and the tasks it runs on a client's file are drawn from that client's credit.
