Your account

Your personal data

Getting a copy of what React Box holds about you, or closing your account for good.

Exporting your data

A complete archive, prepared on request.

  • The export contains your profile, your organization memberships, your documents' metadata and the history of your actions.
  • The content of the documents is not included: those files belong to the organization holding them, not to your personal account.
  • You receive an email as soon as the archive is ready.
  • The download link stays valid for seven days, and one export can be requested every seven days.

Tip

Need the documents themselves? They download from the vault of the organization concerned, with the rights that go with it.

Deleting your account

A deliberately slow procedure, reversible for thirty days.

  1. 1

    Confirm your identity

You enter your email address and type the confirmation word. A deletion does not fire from an absent-minded click.

  2. 2

    The deletion is scheduled

It takes effect thirty days later. An email confirms the request and carries the cancellation link.

  3. 3

    You can still turn back

Throughout that window, cancelling is enough to restore the account exactly as it was.

  4. 4

At the end of the window

Your personal data is permanently deleted.

Warning

Deleting your account does not delete the organizations you belonged to, nor their documents: they belong to the company and remain subject to its retention duties.

Retention and traceability

An accounting record is subject to a legal retention duty that outweighs an individual deletion request: the organization answers for it, not you. Likewise, the activity trail bearing your name — who validated an invoice, who rejected a document — remains necessary to the evidential value of the file.

Note

For a request covering a whole organization's data, its administrator has to contact us.
