Atlas

Credit and availability

Atlas runs on your organization's prepaid AI credit — the same one that powers automatic reading of invoices and statements. No extra module to subscribe to.

Updated on August 14, 2026

How the credit works

  • An allowance is credited every month, on the anniversary day of your subscription start — the credit cycle is monthly, independent of your billing due date, which is annual.
  • Unused credit rolls over to the next cycle: a quiet month funds a busy one.
  • The chat, purchase-invoice reading, bank-statement reading and automatic matching all draw from the same place.
  • Accounting firms consume no credit when working on a client.

Tip

A conversation costs far less than a document analysis: most of the credit goes into reading documents, not into questions.

When the credit runs out

Nothing breaks, and nothing is billed without you knowing.

  • Atlas stops and says so in the thread, in plain language.
  • Manual entry of invoices, statements and everything else keeps working normally.
  • Service resumes at the next allowance, or as soon as our team adds credit.
  • If the credit runs out mid-reply, the turn stops cleanly and whatever was written is kept.

The other limits

  • Sending is rate-limited per organization: sixty messages per ten-minute window. Past that the message is refused — nothing queues it, so send it again once the window has cleared.
  • One conversation turn consults at most a dozen sources before answering.
  • Atlas keeps the last forty messages of the thread in mind. Beyond that, restate the context that matters.
  • One reply at a time per conversation: wait for it, or stop it, before sending another message.

Tracking usage

The Atlas screen in settings breaks down the current cycle.

  • The breakdown by usage: chat, purchase-invoice reading, bank statements, cash receipts.
  • The remaining credit, the cycle's allowance and what has already been consumed.
  • Reserved for organization administrators, on the web and on mobile.
