The same app, not a companion
What you do at the desk, you do again from the phone.
- Vault, messaging, document requests, third parties, purchases, invoicing, bank accounts, chart of accounts, accounting and analytics: it is all there.
- The same data, live: a document uploaded from the phone shows up on the web straight away, and the other way round.
- The same roles and the same permissions: mobile opens nothing your role does not already grant you.
- The same organization switching: your companies and client files are in the switcher, just like on the web.
Note
One deliberate exception: the fine-grained invoicing setup — issuer identity, numbering, PDF theme — stays on the web, where a live preview makes sense. The invoices themselves are created and issued from mobile.
What mobile does better
Three uses where the phone beats the computer.
Scanning on the spot
Photographing an invoice or a receipt the moment you get it is still the best way not to lose it. The analysis starts right away, as on the web.
Being alerted
Push notifications for what genuinely matters: a message, a document request, an exchange rate alert.
Glancing
iOS widgets show the number of pending documents or the latest exchange rate right on the home screen.
